About Wizquiz 2023

National Defence Academy is celebrating 75 glorious years of its existence at the time when the country is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav which marks 75 years of India’s independence. As part of its Glorious Years Celebrations, NDA is proud to present Wizquiz 2023, an inter-school quiz competition. The commemoration of the National Defence Academy’s 75 years of glory, together with the quiz competition, will serve as a reminder of the institution’s vital role in shaping India’s defence forces.

The quiz will be conducted in a hybrid model. The preliminary, zonal and semi-final rounds will be conducted online. The Grand Final will be conducted at NDA, in front of the magnificent Sudan Block. The competition will test the participants on their general knowledge and other areas such as current affairs, sports, science, entertainment and the history of the NDA and India’s Armed Forces.

The finalists will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit NDA and experience its grandeur.

National Defence Academy

The National Defence Academy (NDA) has evolved into a prestigious military academy over the course of 75 glorious years, attracting the finest young men and women from various regions of India and other friendly countries. With the motto of “Seva Parmo Dharm”, the academy has produced leaders who have paved the way for inter-services camaraderie and joint leadership, thereby fulfilling the faith and vision of its founding leaders.

The NDA is a unique tri-services academy that provides joint training to cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The training curriculum aims to produce physically fit, mentally tough and highly disciplined officers. In addition to military training, the academy also imparts academic training to the cadets to make them scholar warriors. Moreover, the academy plays a pivotal role in fostering a sense of national unity and camaraderie among the cadets.
